Welcome back to Simple Living in a Complex World. It's been several years since I've felt the need to post on this blog. Since that time the world has grown even more complex than it was previously, and trying to "Keep it simple" has become more difficult than ever. Personal issues at home and in the family, social issues, government issues, global issues, are all bubbling up and threaten to boil over and cause a mess. My desire is to keep a lid on it all by living for my family, my faith, and my home in a way that dishes out a sense of calm rather than anxiety. My continuing love of reading, gardening, knitting, spinning, and old-fashioned housekeeping are what will sustain me in this goal. There are so many kindred spirits here in the blogosphere that keep me enthused. Thank you, and perhaps my words will spur someone else on their journey to a simpler, saner life.
